These two chairs are very vintage and have been in a family collection for 3-4 generations. They are heavy carved brass in the ornate Victorian or Baroque/Rococo Style. These have been displayed in a dollhouse for many decades and the red velvet is original and is quite faded on both seats. There is dust in the deep crevices as well. The glue holding the seats underneath has yellowed considerably. The carved brass makes the chairs heavier than they would seem for their size.
