Taylor and Kent started producing pieces with the trademark Elizabethan China in 1962 at Florence Works in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. The company was officially renamed Elizabethan Fine Bone China Ltd. in 1982. In 1987, the company merged with Rosina china. Due to the short timeframe of this company, these pieces are quite rare. This lovely teacup and saucer set is a vintage gem from England dating from 1970’s. The teacup and saucer are adorned with beautiful red and yellow cabbage roses surrounded by green foliage and white daisies. The pattern is coined English Garden and the floral pattern truly elevates this piece to a beautiful work of art. The cup has a unique curved shape and is heavily embellished with gold gilt.
