Description: Absolutely exquisite example of Italian majolica! The pictures are a true representation of the beautiful, rich colors you'd expect from perfectly ripe lemons and oranges. The attention to detail...the texture, different sizes of each fruit, the placement of the fruit down to the bottom of the bowl...it is so well made. There are 6 pieces of each fruit. This piece is hand-made and hand painted and was made sometime between 1960-1990. There is some wear to the white porcelain basket edges - but it almost looks intentional - so doesn't detract in any way. Please see the pictures. This is a vintage, pre-owned piece and is in great condition with signs of wear that coincide with age.
