Description: Vtg Jantzen Expandables Blue Swim Suit Trunks 38 Men's 1950s-60s Nice pair of 1950s-era Jantzen Expandables royal blue men's swim trunks. Elastic waist with gathered, sewn-in elastic on the back and a band of white and blue striped elastic on the front. Interior drawstring on wasteband. Faux fly. Single white pinstripe on the sides of the legs. Red, white, and blue embroidered patch logo on the left leg. The hem is slightly gathered as well. Minimal lining. Made in USA of some sort of nylon/cotton woven canvas material. MEASUREMENTS: Labeled men's size 38. Waist measures approx 17" flat, 20" flat and stretched. 14" from waist to hem. Inseam 3.5". These are not modest! Don't go by labeled size when it comes to vintage clothing of any era. I recommend measuring your favorite shirt and comparing it with the measurements here. CONDITION: Vintage used condition. No visible holes, tears, or stains. The elastic waist shows signs of losing its stretch and is visibly wavy, but is still stretchy.
