When opened, under lid, a small makeup mirror and a side compartment; maybe a lipstick holder. Good condition with age related issues. The mirror is dirty; very minor spotting. Overall, respectful. The underside is scratched due to age/use. The top, not bad, minimal wear, gold is crisp. The backing area may have a few small fracture lines; hard to tell. Could be flaw lines and maybe the stress of opening and closing and being plastic. Maybe a few scratch areas near hinges. Light scratches everywhere else. Sometimes when you open and close, it can stick a little bit. Measures 5.25" X 3 3/8".
