Description: Today I am offering this fabulous Perigord dinner plate by Guy Buffet for Williams Sonoma. It's made of high-quality fine porcelain. This highly glazed, richly colored plate features a painting of a charming French lifestyle countryside scenic pattern. It's a large 10" diameter dinner plate. It's borderless so the image of the painting covers the entire surface. The "painting" is signed and dated 99 on the lower front. This collection was manufactured in 1999. It is now discontinued. The backstamp on the plate reads as follows: Perigord by Guy Buffet for Williams-Sonoma (artist's signature logo) Dishwasher Safe - Microwave Safe Fine Porcelain Made in Germany Although the plate is considered dishwasher safe, I personally would hand wash to retain the glossy finish. It's in excellent vintage pre-owned condition with no signs of use. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. No loss of color or fading. No utensil scratches or marks. Super clean and ready to use.
