Description: The ittem is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for an antique primitive apothecary cabinet, spice, eight drawer. An as is as found sale, what you see is what you get. The cabinet may have been altered in ways, repaired. It's how it was presented to me. Description is in observation only. The cabinet is a semi dark wood, looks quite old. Eight drawers, maybe for spices, etc... A counter cabinet, no wall mounts. The drawer knobs are different as some are stained, some are not. Some knobs may have been applied later, but looks like a good match. Newer knobs pote through to inside drawer where drawer is unfinished like second and third on left. The bottom on first row is glued with a yellow glue in knob in front and inside, glue drip. The top two drawers knobs look untouched. The second row second third and fourth rows, the wood pokes through a hole inside through unfinished wood. Theres some pencil writing on backside of second drawer. Some drawers and spaces fit better than others. Wood trim around knobs have an almost bulls eye look. Some have many nicks in design, I assume from age. Dirt in crevices, can have a musty order. All second and below drawers all look as if they have masonite on bottom of drawers. Top row seems just wood. The trim on the left side on backing seems shorter than the one on right side. The left one has a beveled edge ike at t ehtop of the park, a few nicks on the sides and the upper side on left before it curves in a bit. Right one has no beveled nor curve near top. Cant explain. The top piece except for curve seems consistent, or more so. The top of the drawer on right side of back corner, a piece of wood that has been split a little bit on backside right corner. The wood will have nichs, chipping, cutmarks like drawer at bottom at right side. One side is more rounded that the other. Backside can have chalkiness and the backside can have spotting, holes, all things associated with age. Sold as found. see all pics for they are part of description. The drawer on the left, second down has some gray standing. Considering the age, very quaint. Measures 9.75" X 16.5" X 5".
