Description: Vintage Sanborn's Mexico Mayan heavy statement necklace. It is marked Sanborn's sterling on the back of the pendant. The chain is approximately 20 inches long and has a fold over clasp. I did acid test the metal and it was positive for sterling but I'm not an expert!!! I believe that this might have originally been a belt buckle that was converted into a pendant. The pendant has a lot of scratching on the back that I'm assuming are from being tested for sterling. The bail has a slight bend to it, the pendant still hangs correctly. This necklace is tarnished and will need cleaned. This necklace is in good condition for it's age!! The necklace is being sold as is and does have surface scratches and wear!!
