Description: These were my father's and were likely purchased before 1985 (if not before 1960). They are a set of 2 maple stock blanks, one is 11" long by 3 7/8" high at the tallest end x 2 1/4" thick and appears to have some quilting and/or striping, and the other is 13 5/8" long, 2 5/8" high at the tallest end and 2 1/8" thick and is a darker tiger striped maple. I am assuming they are maple and not walnut due to the thickness of the grain. One side is (two sides on the larger piece are) sanded smooth and the other sides are rough cut; my father marked both 'shotgun fore end', which is possible since they have different grains, I'll let the bidders tell me (by bidding) which they think they are or if they are a set - if nothing else, you get some nice vintage stock blanks from lovely pieces of wood. I took photos of all sides and ends - I did not varnish/seal or wet them to make the colors pop. Appear to be in excellent condition with no checks or cracks. I hope that someone can use them! High bidder pays Priority Mail shipping within the US based on 4 lbs to a maximum of Medium Flat Rate at $18 (eBay is not allowing me to offer Medium Flat Rate, so I'll refund any shipping paid over $18); not shipped international due to weight. We combine shipping where possible.
