Description: MCM brass table lamp with 2 cobra heads 19.5" tall, marble base, snake lamp There are 3 columns, the two outside ones have the cobra heads on top, the middle one has the light fitting at the top. Near the top is a circular inset with opaque glass (2.5" diameter, 1.1/25" high). On the round brass base is a round layer of very light tan faux marble. On the metal part where you screw the light bulb in it reads: Excelsior, 250WThere is no marking anywhere else. It is very likely a vintage Excelsior lamp. The lamp works well, you turn it on and off by pulling the little chain near the cop. The brass has been polished and a lot of the original sheen has been restoredBut there is room for improvement with a good brass cleaner and some elbow grease. Underneath the lamp is a round brown stone (?) to add weight and stability to the lamp (please see last picture)
