Description: This listing is for a vintage book published by J.M. Dent in London and E.P. Dutton in NY, in 1959.It contains two stories in one book from the Children's Illustrated Classics series. The titles and authors included here are the following: The Rose & the Ring (or, The History of Prince Giglio and Prince Bulbo) by W.M.Thackeray and The Magic Fish-Bone by Charles Dickens This 179-page hardcover is in very good vintage condition with all pages crisp, clean, and sturdily bound; the corners of the cover are bumped and there is one page with a small tear on its edge. As an ex-library book, it has the typical stamps, envelope inside, etc. ALSO, it has the "Bound to Stay Bound" binding, and it has done a superb job!There are eight color illustrations and dozens of black & white illustrations.
