Description: This old gas can was my husband's. It has been in our garage for many years. It has been used, but not for many many years. It is 11" tall by 9" wide, & I think it held 1 gallon of gas. PROTECTOSEAL CO. of America, Chicago are some of the embossed words. The lid is hard to open, the handle does not open the lid by itself. I had to open it with my other hand while squeezing the handle. I would say this is only for display. It is very heavy, weighs almost 5 pounds before packaging.
