Description: This vintage US Navy wool blanket is a unique piece featuring a creamy white background and blue stripes, embroidered lettering, and nautical theme. Measuring 81 X 63 inches, this rectangular blanket is made of high-quality wool material and is an original piece, not a reproduction. This was an estate find and is in excellent condition although I can’t attest to it being around pets. I will leave the decision as to dry cleaning up to you. The blanket appears as new in that the fabric “feels” like it’s never been laundered. The edge binding is complete. There is one tiny snag that I photographed. I saw two thin spots but no holes, tears, smells or repairs. “US Navy” is at both ends of the blanket. An extremely nice piece for your military collection.
