Description: Vintage Wood & Brass Folding Box Chess Set. With 32 chess pieces that appear to be made of a Bakelite type material. This folding case has brass detailing and handles. The box has a yellow fabric lined storage compartment inside to hold all the pieces. The case does not lock. Measuring 14.5" x 7.5" x 3.5" when closed. Fully open is 14.5" x 14.5. The pieces have green felt bottoms, and measure 2.5-3.5" tall. There are elastic bands to secure each piece, though the material is fairly loose. There is some staining to the fabric inside. The box itself is in nice condition. Please see the final listing picture for some spotting to the finish of one of the ends of the case. We have not made any attempts to clean, and the set is being sold as is for this reason.
