Description: This small wooden darning tool was found in an antique haberdashers cabinet I bought at auction. Comes with a (German) written sheet of paper that is wrapped around it. I used google translate to decipher the writing (photos) - and that is the only reason I know exactly what this is. The paperwork is crispy and fragile, but the darning tool is in amazing condition for its age. It’s as if it sat in that drawer for decades and decades, untouched.
