Description: VTG Zuni Inlay Sunface Bracelet Sterling Silver MOP Turquoise Coral M&S Laahte This is a spectacular and classic vintage cuff bracelet from famous artist duo Morris and Sadie Laahte (Zuni). Two heavy gauge sterling silver rails create the frame for the cuff, and provide support for the four individual inlay sunface pieces. The sunfaces use mother of pearl, along with small pieces of coral, turquoise and onyx. Stamped silver dots are placed between the sunfaces for accents. The width of the rails tapers from 3/4" to 7/16". The sunfaces are each about 7/8" in diameter. The inner circumference is 5 1/8" with an additional wrist gap of 1 1/8". It will fit up to a 6 1/4" wrist. It weighs 35.9 g. The artists' hallmark is a pictograph of the outline of a sunface, for Morris and Sadie Laahte, and famous Zuni silversmith couple. They began making jewelry in the 1970s. Morris unfortunately passed away in 1987, with Sadie passing not long afterwards. Touch of Turquoise invites you to Wear the West!
