Each volume with handsome etched title page as well as letterpress title page. Frontispieces for each of the 10 volumes are colored and many of the in-text engravings also colored, and (rarely) the full-page plates are as well; some of the plates are etchings, others are gravure photos, photogravures, woodcuts, steel engravings, and other forms of engraving. With dozens of plates in each volume, some of which have mats.
