Description: Here's a beautiful WAHL EVERSHARP SKYLINE RED WOOD GRAIN hard rubber fountain pen from about 1927. Condition on this pen is about as good as could be asked for. The pen is 5-3/16" long with standard barrel size, yellow gold-filled roller clip, filling lever, and 4 gold filled bands. Aside from a tiny tool mark on the top cap band, all hardware is excellent and there are no flaws to the rubber. The clip is marked WAHL EVERSHARP and below the top cap band is imprinted MADE IN USA. This pen has the less frequently seen soldier clip, mounted at the top of the cap rather than at mid-level as usually seen. Also mounted on the top of the cap is the multicolored GREGG emblem inset with perfect enameling. The lever filler moves freely and will need a new sac and probably a new j-bar as there is no resistance to movement. The nib is a WAHL, EVERSHARP, 14K, 2, MANIFOLD.
