Produced in about 1841 and published in book form in 1844, this first edition print is a rare find that showcases the Scottish artist's exceptional talent. The picture is just over six inches wide and five high. It is inside a document sized nine inches by seven inches.It is in very good condition, however has slight foxing on top right of the border.The full title is:- "A Blind Fiddler " The art print is a wonderful representation of the 1840s period. The production technique of etching adds depth and texture to the print, making it a unique and original piece. The item was published by John Stewart who had a office in Glasgow.
