Description: Warren is a town in Salamonie Township, Huntington County, Indiana with a population of 1,182 at the 2020 census. Warren, originally known as “Jonesboro”, was platted in 1833 near the “Indianapolis & Ft. Wayne Road”. In 1837, founder Samuel Jones sold his first lot. The name was later changed due to there being another town of Jonesboro nearby, south of Marion. The town experienced growth in 1878 when a new railroad line was built through the neighborhood. I could not find any information on “E.M. Mossbury” but his house is on this card, published by “W.H. Hickerson, Warren”. The card is a DB, 1907-15 and is in near mint condition with minor wear if any and a clean, clear image with an embossed frame. The reverse is also clean. The colors on the card may vary due to the scanner settings and screen projections.Unless otherwise noted, I use Wikipedia, Playle's and Metropostcard for research and try to be as accurate as possible. Corrections appreciated. If this your card, it will be mailed promptly upon receipt of payment......
