Theodore "Ted" Gustave Gottlied Waschke was born 10 August 1913 in Bellingham, Whatcom Co., Washington, son of Gustave "Gus" Christof Waschke (1884 - 1959) and Agnes Johanna Emelie/Emily Matzke (1891 - 1984). On the 16th of February 1948, he married Thelma Wilhelmina Schuyleman, born 29 March 1918 in Lynden, Whatcom Co., Washington, daughter of John William Schuyleman (1883 - 1965) and Tillie Haveman (1890 - 1988). Thelma died 25 March 1996 and was laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ferndale, Whatcom Co., Washington, where Ted joined her 7 February 2005. Photograph measures 4.5 x 6 inches and comes from the Sandison photography studio in Bellingham, Washington. It is in great condition, having been safely stored in its folder over the decades.
