PLEASE MESSAGE ME IF YOU PURCHASE THIS TOFC AND INTEND TO PICK IT UP AT YORK. THANKS. WEAVER U23011 35' NAVAJ0 TRAILER ON 50' UNION PACIFIC FLAT CAR #53738 3-RAIL NIB I currently own one of the largest collections of Weaver TOFCs in the United States, and I have reluctantly decided to thin my collection by strategically selling a number of these TOFCs, those that are unlikely to ever make it to the layout. All of the TOFCs I will be selling are NIB. Weaver TOFCs are built very well, look great and track very well. In my opinion, they are the best freight cars that Weaver ever made. While I am primarily a Northeast Railroad guy, I also like the Union Pacific Railroad. I have a couple of these Weaver Navajo/Union Pacific TOFCs on my layout, and they are gorgeous, particularly the iconic and awesome NAVAJO Trailer with the picture of a Navajo Native American. Some words of caution. Please be very careful in removing the flat car from the styrofoam so that you do not break the ramps on each end of the car. First, gently remove the styrofoam pieces on each side of the car by the couplers. Then grab the plastic liner on each side of the car, centered in the middle of each truck, to gently and evenly pull the car out of the styrofoam holder, making sure you are not having the ramps make contact with the styrofoam. Candidly, I never understood why Weaver did not include instructions about how to remove the flat car, although they did provide instructions about how to remove the trailer, as follows: "The trailer is packed very tightly in the foam liner. When removing the trailer, grab each corner of the plastic liner and pull the trailer straight up to avoid breaking the mud flaps." In my experience, the risk of breaking the ramps of the flat car is much higher than the risk of breaking the mud flaps on the trailer. Please note that this Weaver TOFC does not come with the pony wheels. That should not be an issue unless you are planning to take the trailer off the flat car, something I have never done with any of my TOFCs. I am pricing these TOFCs reasonably, and I offer combined shipping for purchases of two or more of them. This particular TOFC is extremely rare, so it is priced a little higher than some of the others I am selling. I would rate this TOFC as C-9 and its box as P9, under the TCA Grading Standards. Shipping to my customers is of utmost importance to me and I take pride in the way I package trains that I sell to them. I will package this TOFC in a new shipping box and protect it with bubble wrap. I will also place "FRAGILE - HANDLE WITH CARE" stickers on the shipping box. I am a member of TCA, LCCA, LOTS and METCA - #s 02-54929, 42699, 9286 and 54929, respectively. I am also a longstanding eBay member, with a 100% approval rating. 50' Flat Car Features1:48 StateReady to RunDetailed Styrene BodyOperates on O-42 Curves or LargerMade in the USAPad Printed GraphicsMultiple Road NumbersPainted with Durable Scalecoat PaintsEquipped with Diecast Trucks & Couplers 35' Highway Trailer Features1:48 ScaleDetailed UnderframeHighly Detailed Styrene BodyMounted Spare Tire IncludedReal Rubber TiresAccurate LetteringPad Printed GraphicsPad Printed Light Details
