Description: Wedgwood 'Oberon' 9.75 Inch OVAL VEGETABLE BOWL - Mint The bowl spent its entire life on display in a china cabinet. Photos of the backstamps from this set was sent to Wedgwood to attempt verification of the manufacturing location. This pattern was discontinued in 2023 and over the years since 1993 when it was first introduced, the manufacturing location moved from Barlaston, England to Indonesia. The yellowed tags are indicative of an early 1990's run made in Barlaston but to be safe, Indonesia is listed as the country of manufacturing origin for pieces without the paper label. Keep this in mind if the 'Made in England/United Kingdom' is a crucial element of your buying decision. There's a simple art nouveau band of green and beige at the rim but on the footed cup, saucer and salad plate there is a lovely all over water-lily(?) design that truly highlights this set.
