Description: Beautiful Weller Lamar vase with dark trees on a deep red background. There are 2 branching trees in the foregroundwith several more in the background. Foreground glaze is dark, almost a silver color. Very hard to photograph -I have included photos with flash that show the trees better. Superb work and gorgeous glaze.. I could not find any signature. Lamar was made on a white base with multiple firings for the layers of pattern. The glaze is very delicate. Made CA Late 1920-25. No bottom marks Measures 7" high, 2" across the top, 2 1/4" bottom. Condition is near mint. There are no nicks, chiggers, cracks, repairs. This Weller glaze is very delicate, and any bumping or scrubbing may leave white marks from the body of the vase. There are several of these white marks around the vase, but they are small and do not detract (in my opinion). There are 2 spots where there is a glaze scratch that shows a little more -see the brighter photol #2. For ship, will double box and insure. I pack extremely well with many years of experience.
