Description: Stamped "w germany" for west germany.vintage Still grips small items easily. I had to undo some paracord on a zipper and it took it off easy that my leatherman couldn't. The last 3x pictures are interesting comparison to a current era and same size Knipex cobra. The W Germany steel is black, the new ones are dark grey. the handle grip is a shiny rubber vs textured for the new version, the rubber might repel oil better. The mouth/ jaw opening is smaller compared to the newer one, the jaw opening for the W Germany one is as big as my Knipex 180 (not pictured). The teeth/ the amount of articulation is smaller in the new one. The button adjustment sticks out a lot compare to the new version. Only version of this on ebay at the moment.
