The Art Deco dial, hands, glass crystal and Deco case are in good condition. The two-toned dial has a gold colored center surrounded by a yellow border and crisp black numbers. It has some blemishes. The glass crystal has very light scratches. Made in Canada is printed on the dial. A picture of this style of Westclox Rocket and its Deco case appeared in a 1940 print ad in the Saturday Evening Post. Westclox made clocks and watches in Peterboro, Ontario, Canada . from (1936 through the early 1950’s) from Canada are much less common than Made in U.S.A. Ideal for restoration.
