A vintage sterling silver Western (Wailing) Wall Mezuzah pendant containing the Shema. It has the letter shin (W) on the front which has several meanings in Hebrew. It is stamped ISRAEL STERLING SILVER. A mezuzah is a small container that holds a parchment scroll with the Shema prayer written on it. The Shema is a collection of verses from the Torah, including Deuteronomy 6:4–9 and 11:13–21, that are considered the two most sacred prayers in Judaism.
