Description: A Westley Richards & Co vintage leather gun case. Generally good vintage condition, and good quality. Nicely patinated chestnut brown leather over wood. Sturdy heavy wood frame (probably oak), good handle. Both restraining straps and all keepers present. Nb. two of the keepers stitching has come undone on one side - see photo 13. Chunky brass clasp lock (unsurprisingly no key). Internally lined in a dark green coloured baize. Fitted interior for up to 30" barrels. Good Westley Richards & Co label. External measurements: 32 1/2" x 8 6/8" x 3 2/8" (82.5 x 22.3 x 8.3 cms). This is a really good quality gun case. Some light restoration would bring it up to a finne standard.
