It is a lovely cotton, with almost a flannel feel. It dates to the late 1800s or turn of the century, and it is a rare find! It is light but warm, a great layer for spring or an under layer if you want to bundle up! This coat closes with two ties instead of buttons! This is just such a fascinating one of a kind coat! This coat does not have pockets. ~ GORGEOUS! Ideal for wearing, display or design inspiration ~*~ MEASUREMENTS : This gorgeous Vintage French coat measures : 26 inches long 39 inch chest 40 inch waist 22 inches from shoulder to shoulder 15.5 inch sleeves (shoulder seam to wrist) CONDITION : This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. Aside from some gentle wear and tear I do not see any damage on this great jacket, ready for wearing or use as design inspiration! Generally this textile is in fabulous condition indeed!
