They are good for helping keep you cooler in the summer but will not keep you warmer in winter. Do not buy these for warm insulation purposes! The R-value is probably 1, right against the glass. Moonroof cover is probably the most helpful piece even when not camping because of the heat reflection characteristics. It can really help keep the vehicle cooler in hotter conditions. Installed by opening the moonroof, tucking it through, and clamping the moonroof closed. I’ve been camping many many times and the system works very well. Note: These ship from Oregon, and go by USPS mail or UPS, taking about 6-7 days to most of the East Coast USA. Please order well before your adventure to ensure receipt on time.
