We do buy the Chinese rims in Italy, but they cost substantially less than the European rims, and thousands of our happy customers are using them. To prove our faith in the quality of the less expensive rims, we are lacing them to our expensive $2,500.00 each Fontana magnesium brakes on our own vintage racing bikes, even though we can well afford to buy the Italian rims.
