I am a very consistent 7.5 in US sizing, and these boots are a little snug. I am not able to wear them with heavy wool socks - dress socks and stockings only. I would also say they're also a little on the narrow side. They are beautiful boots and I hate to let them go, but like I said, they're just a little too narrow for me. Also, I disagree with characterising them as "combat boots", but eBay forces me to pick a style. They're not quite chukkas and they're not quite combat boots. They're just 8.5 inch high, lace up, leather boots. I don't know what the proper name for those are, but eBay certainly didn't offer it.
