WOOD PAR JIGSAW PICTURE PUZZLE TWINKLE TOES SIGNED 1200 MOUNTAINS FLOWERS ZURICH

Description: This is an outstanding vintage Par Picture Puzzle titled “Twinkle Toes”. Box label notes: approx 1200 pieces (not hand counted). It is also signed in gold pen, by what I believe is the cutter of the puzzle. Signing is in two spots. Approximately 24” by 31” in size so it’s big. This is an estimate---it’s roughly the same size as the other PAR jigsaw I have listed. Note the original owners initials BG cut out as part of the pieces. Condition: Puzzle colors are vivid. Pieces are quality cut and tight. A few teeny, tiny tip paper peels/chips at a few ends. NO mildew or smoking odors. Complete! The image is from Kandersteg, Switzerland. Kandersteg is a high-altitude resort village in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland. Trails, like the challenging Allmenalp, and a cable car head east to Lake Oeschinen. Set at the foot of the Blüemlisalp massif, the lake is also a popular ski area. PLEASE NOTE FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DO NOT WANT TO SEE THE FINISHED PUZZLE, AVOID LOOKING AT THE LAST PHOTO, WHICH SHOWS IT COMPLETED. The Black box does not have a picture which is typical of PAR. Included are old photos taken by the original owners, who were Constance and Lyons Gray of the R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company family. The box is near perfect as well. PAR time is 9 hours 40 minutes. Good luck with that one. With all the color changes and different shades all around it was quite challenging and really took a few weeks to put together (for us), yet it was extremely enjoyable. I really loved the whimsies as well. It has a total of 42 whimsies. It has two of the traditional seahorses and many other cool designs as shown.
