Description: I had a hard time identifying this estate sale trumpet find. After a lot of searching and trying to read what is on the bell, I believe this to be a vintage Wurlitzer Lyric Trumpet. I can't make out the first name, but I think it should be Rudolph Wurlitzer, but it doesn't look like that, although it is very hard to read. I am pretty sure it says LYRIC LIBERTY in the larger letters. With that said, the trumpet does have a few dents and is missing one of the valve caps. All of the valves are free and move easy. The serial number is P39232. It comes with what appears to be the original case from FILLMORE MUSIC HOUSE in Cincinnati, Ohio. Case is solid but rough shape on the inside. I was able to remove all of the tuning valves except the one with the spit valve on it. It is partially out, but I was afraid to pull it too hard in fear on breaking something. I am not a trumpet player. If you have any questions or need any other information I will do the best I can to answer. Thanks for looking, hopefully I can find a new home. This information was sent to me by an Ebayer after Iisted the item. This is a stencil of a Pan America made model 31A cornet vintage circa 1924. It is not a trumpet, it is a cornet. It was made for the Rudolph Wurlitzer Company and stenciled with the Wurlitzer brand Lyric Liberty. The case is not original to the instrument. Fillmore Music House was a competitor of Wurlitzer.
