Description: This German art deco dinanderie vase was made by the Ikora workshop of WMF (Wurttembergishe Metalwarenfabric) ca. 1929. The vase is bulbous in shape and has a hammered patina decorative copper/ brass leaf pattern on all sides. The background of the vase pattern is silver plate. WMF, Wurttembergische Metalwarenfabrik, was founded in 1880 after the merger of Straub & Sohn and Ritter & Co. of Esslingen, Germany. It is marked with a castle or lighthouse in a circle, over the letters WMF. Good condition but could use a good cleaning. The vase is 3.75” tall and 2.75” at opening.
