Description: This auction is for a World War 2 "Reproduction" of the B-17 (42-37940) nose art SPIRIT OF ' 44 back of jacket patch....( I took $15 off today 10/7/24)...The B-17 was in the 322nd bomb squadron of the 91st bomb group. On their 6th bombing mission it was shot up so back that it had to be scraped. This is my color rendition of that nose art. Great for that jacket or display case? It's hand cut, then painted with leather paint, then aged, then a matte clear finish applied.....It's measures 14" wide by 11" high........... All this was done by a Vietnam vet.......Will paint any patch or jacket on request........... I do combine shipping...... Payment is due 3 days from close of auction..........
