WW2 American Army Officer’s Uniforms

Description: All of these items belonged to and were worn by my father while he was in service until being Honorably Discharged sometime in 1945. The dress uniforms were custom made for him by a well known men’s clothing store in NYC and Boston, Rogers Peet. This sale contains: 1- officer’s dress hat w original rain cover Rogers Peet. Fine used Condition. Small hole on rim. 1- dark olive dress jacket w 2nd Lt bars Rogers Peet 1- Summer weight beige wool dress jacket w bars 1-dark green double breasted overcoat w brass buckle belt Rogers Peet 1- tan wool shirt w single bar and crossed cannons on collar from Rogers Peet 1 - Olive green worsted wool shirt 1- tan wool/cotton shirt from Lido. Gold Eagle in gold circle patch on right Chest 1- lite brown wool shirt by Yale w gold Eagle in gold circle patch on right side 1-all cotton Rogers Peet shirt w gold Eagle in gold circle 2- pair men’s khaki long pants 6- washed and folded khaki long sleeve shirts. All cotton. 3/6 are heavy weight 3 - pair men’s socks + 1 single sock 4- “ flat hats “. 2 w single bar. Cotton gabardine 2- long John cotton tops 2-long John cotton bottoms 1- dark green herringbone weave, cotton coveralls w crossed cannons pin on collar 29 items A few of these items are in very good condition but the majority of the wool items have small moth holes and the all cotton items, occasional age stains. The dress dark green jacket has a few scattered small holes but shows the best. Summer weight coat also has a few holes but shows well. These items have been in a steamer trunk in a conditioned , non smoking environment for 70+ years. They were dry cleaned or washed before storing.
