Description: A very nice example of an original World War Two Royal Air Force Aircrew Small Size Sheepskin Flying Jacket 1941-1945 A still very supple jacket in a very good order with the expected reinforced patches on the elbows lovely thick sheepskin inside. All the heavy-duty zips are still working well (we think they are the originals) and this cracking, very good looking jacket was obviously issued to a small aircrew-man serving with RAF Bomber Command between 1941 & 1945. (Originally gifted to a young neighbour upon the airman's de-mob in late 1945, this recently-acquired flying jacket has been in the same family since then, and was used primarily as a motor-cycle jacket in those intervening years!) A smashing flying jacket in a great, issued condition... (Please note: Flying Jacket only for sale, not the tailor's dummy) Thanks for looking..!
