Description: This is a high-quality reproduction of a WW2 Splinter camouflage material, helmet cover. It was made with original German WW2 camouflage, sometime in the post-war period. I have no idea who made it, because it’s a very old reproduction. The material is obviously quite old and is showing numerous field repairs. It’s still strong and has a lot of life left in it, but any kind of very rough usage could possibly result in more damage. I used original Italian camouflage material for the patches and I used original German thread to do most of the repairs. Because of the heavily distressed nature of this item, I have priced it well below what original material helmet covers normally cost. Helmet not included. This listing is for the cover only.
