This Trench Art Ring features one of the main hubs of supply and troops during the North African Campaign of the second world war. Operation Torch was a major movement by the Allied forces against the Fascist regime and other Axis allies dug in in North Africa. But if you're here...you probably already know that! This ring is from the Northeast portion of Algeria. Painstakingly Etched is "North Africa Bone" It's heavily constructed and obviously built to last! There's alot if character to this piece as you can see in the pictures! It appears as if it was stealing silver or chrome plated at one point but that mirror shine has worn away to the heavy brass beneath.
