Description: 1st Sgt Thomas F. Wilson was a member of the 15th Air Force, 450th bomb group, 720th bomb squadron and participated in the two mission represented by the tags attached to the bomb fuse pins. You will receive his patch from the 15th AF, a tobacco ration card with Sgt Wilson’s name on it and the two Mission briefing tags with fuse pins attached. At the end of the pictures provided are several pages of information (screenshot from research) to provide you with provenance that Wilson is on the roster of the 720th and the missions listed on the tags attached to the bomb fuse pins were actually flown on the dates listed 3-4 February 1944. From research this squadron was based in Italy and flew onboard B-24 Liberators for their missions. 03 Feb mission tag has a comment of SNAFU written, most will understand that means situation Normal All F’d Up. 04 Feb has written Inc - after research the mission that day was subjected to inclement weather, most likely abbreviated to Inc These are difficult to find, rare items from WWII.
