Description: Great vintage WWII military Grumman FGF Hellcat Directional Gyro. Sperry, AN5735-1, Vacuum driven gyroscope. It has the U.S. Navy Anchor acceptance stamp. There is a metal data plate on the rear of the case indicating that it was manufactured by The Electric Auto-Lite Co, Toledo, OH under license of Sperry. US Navy green and yellow markings face that are in excellent condition. This part is untested. It was used in a variety of US Navy aircraft. Approx. 4.5" x 4.5" x 5".
