Description: Lovely piece of WWII history in this Pyrex piece. From my research, during this time all metal was to be used for the war effort, so companies like Pyrex had to be creative in what materials could be used for production. Which led to this glass double boiler with a wood handle. The set stands 8" tall with the top rim being 6 1/2" The bottom pan holds up to 2 quarts of liquid while the top will hold 1 1/2 quarts. No chips or cracks, in generally good used condition. wood is in good condition, with some signs of scorching on the bottom handle.
