Description: WWII German Mauser M1884/98 Bayonet with Scabbard and Frog. Ricasso is marked "5949" over "p" on one side, on the reverse is "Carl Eickhorn" and on the spine is a faint "38". The brownish composite grips have a couple small nicks/scratches and a spot of paint. The blade has most of the finish remaining, straight, tight, sharpened, and has some nicks. The pommel has a double Waffenampt. Lock button is functional but a little tight. The pommel and flashguard have some surface rust scattered. The scabbard has a faint "5949" over "p" on the frontside and on the backside "Carl Eickhorn" over "1938". The scabbard is solid with one dent, and it has surface rust scattered throughout with a small section of a bit deeper rust towards the drag. The leather frog has markings on the backside but are illegible (see the pic), tight stitching, surface loss scattered throughout, the frog hole is torn and the latch hole of the retaining strap is too. Length of the blade measures 9 3/4" (15/16" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 15 1/16", and in the scabbard it is 15 15/16". The frog alone is 9 1/4". No international shipping!
