Description: Hello selling off all of my fathers wartime souvenirs so to speak... He spent 5 plus years fighting in Europe from the age of 17 with the Canadian army. I got to play with his toys every time the tooth fairy came as a small boy...but I am nearing the end of my days and would like to see a collector enjoy the pieces my father collected. I have seen many of these on the web and they are in rough shape... this one .is in very good shape... felt covering....and leather... except the strap running from the to cap to the belt....I suppose can be replaced .. i have also seen some with small aluminum chains. I have a helmet and goggles m42 , also a paratrooper helmet I have not found yet but its in great condition also , a ammo belt and pouches ...( the belt might have to be sold separately as it has the eagle and you know what on it..) , a reversible poncho in great shape, and other objects which cannot be sold here like flag, insignias...and what have you.
