Description: This clarinet is an original Yamaha CS and bears registration number 0010XX. It is in wonderful condition. The grenadilla wood has no cracks and the silver plated key work is untarnished. There is no wear-through of the silver plating. The clarinet comes with a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, ligature, Yamaha mouthpiece cover, Yamaha clarinet pamphlet and polishing cloth and double Yamaha clarinet case with keys that is also in wonderful condition. While this is a professional level clarinet, I would recommend it for players of at all levels. It blows easily and has beautiful intonation. The following information is from the clarinet board-clarinet perfection and is believed to be accurate: “The CS model is the original “custom“ and is modeled after the buffet R13. The CS has small tone holes with a larger undercut and small overcut. This design allows the clarinet to blow easily with good projection, and yet have a concentrated and clear tone.
