Red. White. Yellow. This OLED display upgrade requires a custom cable configuration using non standard male/female IDC connectors, to mate properly with the SPX90 mainboard. Everything is included in the listing price. The display will arrive ready to Plug N Play with the mainboard. NO soldering or modifications of any kind are required ! Note ! The cable on this OLED is mounted on the back of the PCB. How it should be, to allow correct mounting / spacing, when installing. The OLED bolts in on the existing mounting points,the custom cable then connects directly with the mainboard. Plug N Play. The installation process is straightforward, lid off, front panel off, disconnect and remove old display, Plug N play OLED, then reassemble. NO tech skills are required to install this display, only to build it. The original IDC plugs used by Yamaha on the old display are non standard and not available anywhere. Its necessary therefore, to create a custom cable to enable Plug N Play operation in the SPX90. Until now, it has not been possible to buy a Plug N Play display upgrade for these Yamaha processors.
