Wear over a pair of stretch pants in the winter or your favorite bikini in the summer. Elastic waistband makes it super comfy.The skirt measures 30" waist/hip unstretched. Stretched elastic measures 40" so it's roomy. If you need to up a size, cut off the elastic waistband and add a new one (I do it all the time for mine because I am a bit short(elves come in all shapes and sizes and I'm a short one) and wearing things at hip level makes them drag on the ground for vertically challenged people. You have two options-move the waist band or grab the bottom and tuck it up into the skirt-also cute.There are little jingly bells on this piece-it's so sweet! Butler is seven and has been my companions since my illness took a turn for the worse and I was home and in need of companionship. I cannot go in the sun for any length of time because of my autoimmune disease, so I'm often with a parasol when walking this cute boy. He gives me the motivation to go out in the daylight hours even if just for a moment to take care of him. During covid Butler had all the kids back home during the day and since they have gone back to school and work fulltime, he has been in a funk. I thought getting him a brother would perk him up and give him the companion he deserved for being mine. We found a puppy in need of a home. When we got him he was half dead. We raced him to the emergency vet and got him packed full of fluids, anti-inflammatory drugs, and antibiotics. He wreaked of fresh blood and I wasn't sure he was going to pull through. With good help our reluctant luck dragon was saved. He has medical issues that will require continued interventions and if you have a pet you know firsthand how expensive vet bills can be. The revenue from this shop will help take care of the little guy's medical issues. When I saw how sick he was I had to take him home with us to get him fixed up, I couldn't very well turn him away given the fact that I live with my own health concerns.
