Description: Yixing Zisha Purple Clay Tea Pot MARKED Mountain Scene Character Poem Ball Shape Vintage (likely 1990's) Chinese Signed Yixing Zisha Clay Teapot With Mountain Landscape Scene and Characters / Poem. Dark brown in color. Ball shaped body measures approx. 4" in diameter. Short spout is approx. 1". Lid sits flat and has single center hole and rounded handle. Inside: ball shape infuser holes at entrance to spout. Teapot also has wrapped bamboo handle. Carved details/decoration - on one side of body is a tranquil mountain landscape scene and on the other side a poem (characters). There is a signature mark at end of poem by side of spout. Bottom is marked - Zhongguo Yixing Zhao Zhu Ge Zhi Hu (Teapot made by Zhao Zhu Ge in Yixing, China). The lid mark tentatively (hard to see) reads - Guiwu - which would be the potter's given name.
