Composite is real wood that has been dyed and cut in a process that makes each sheet consistent in color and grain. Otherwise, like any other veneer. This is one of the best composites and looks somewhat like the natural wood version. Composite is a design option, not intended to be a lower priced option, though it is here vs. natural veneer.
